There are points in time that really standout. A time when things could have gone either way. Times like getting a big break, a really tough time, maybe a big decision. Looking back in your career, what do you see as some of the key points in time?

Hi Eric,
One such time for me was learning about Dr. Deming. Another was when George Jennings asked me if I would like to do a talk radio show on auto repair. Good topic, thanks for posting.

Have been thinking about this since you posted it. It was tough for me to come up with some key points, even though we all have them. I wonder if it is that way for others? Do we miss out on opportunities because we do not recognize them when they come along?
Turned down a contract job three times before taking it, because it was at night. Wound up holding the month to month contract for 15 years. Then at the other end, we were about 1/3td of the way through the process of purchasing land and building a shop when we lost that contract. After much counsel we continued with the project. Now, 4 years later we are still going.
