Every person that starts a business has a theory [plan.] Normally something to the effect, "I can do better for myself by starting a business." Clearly Do is starting the business.
Study is to see where a person is or has the potential to be. Does the original theory hold, is the dream realized? This leaves Act. If not, why not and how can we make it so?
A few measures of success might be:
Providing a service that clients find valuable.
Earning a better living than could be expected otherwise.
Growing and developing opportunity for others.
Providing an enjoyable place for employees to work and develop.
Providing recreation time to enjoy the proceeds
As a general rule, would you say the trade is doing a good job of meeting these type aims?
